About the position
Location: Austria – Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Styria, Salzburg, Vienna, Graz, Klagenfurt.
Start date: Starting January 2025
Contract length: Contract starts after the training week (six months initial contract with possibility to extend)
Training period: Upon arrival at their campus
Responsibilities: As an EFL Teacher with the GET Academy, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and communicative English language projects across Austria.
Teaching up to 29 units per week at various locations in Austria, implementing the academy’s communicative teaching method.
Motivating, engaging, and inspiring students.
Collaborating with the Project Lead to ensure the cohesive delivery of immersive English projects.
Company-provided travel between the campus and project locations.
Ensuring the integrity of project paperwork and administrative procedures.

Salaries are calculated based on qualifications and relevant experience, starting between € 1,600 and € 1,800 gross per month, including 13th/14th salary based on a 30 hour per week contract.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a native-level English speaker, hold a TEFL qualification, and have experience that demonstrates both teaching skills and a genuine talent for working with children.
TEFL qualification
Minimum of 300 hours of classroom experience
Experience using a communicative approach to language teaching
Experience in a young learner teaching environment
Residence and work permit for Austria (British applicants require a Visa D)
Successful candidates must complete a mandatory training period before the contract begins.
Visa: If you are under 30 years old and have a completed degree, you may be eligible to apply for a Work and Travel visa for Austria, which is only available to citizens of certain countries. This visa allows you to work and travel in Austria for 6 or 12 months, depending on your country of origin.
