Role Overview: As an Online ESL Teacher, you'll be a key player in our Virtual English Language Instruction Program. You'll provide engaging online lessons tailored to the proficiency levels of your students, determined by WIDA assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
📝 Develop and deliver compelling online lesson plans.
💡 Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and speeds.
📊 Evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback.
🗓️ Create and manage online pull-out schedules.
🌐 Embrace and respect cultural differences.
🛠️ Assist with technical issues where possible.
Requirements:
🎓 Michigan Teaching Certification Endorsed in English as a Second Language (NS). If not in Michigan, be able to get a Michigan Teaching Certification with ESL endorsement.
🛡️ Successful background check and drug screening.
💬 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
🧠 Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
⏲️ Ability to work 40 hours per week.
Pay Rate:
💲 Hourly Rate: $22.81/hour (Bachelor’s and Michigan Standard Certification).
